Revitalization of the existing local churches

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

1 Peter 5:10

Revitalization aims to glorify God by refocusing churches on their mission of creating disciples and reaching the lost. In Egypt, numerous churches face closure annually due to insufficient resources. We believe that with the proper resources, these declining churches can experience a renewed sense of vitality. The Pastoral, Outreach, and Mission Council (POMC) is dedicated to serving churches in need of replanting or revitalization, providing training for pastors engaged in this transformative work. Selected churches will eventually receive invitations to join our network, where we implement a consistent approach involving training, funding, prayers and ongoing support.

It is both a privilege and an honour to contribute to fortifying churches both within and beyond the POMC network. We view the processes of replanting and revitalization, along with church planting, as integral to our mission and vision. Our main goal is to establish and nurture healthy churches, ultimately bringing glory to God.

The POMC additionally supplies Bible and communion resources to support the religious practices of these churches. The POMC actively addresses the needs of approximately 450 Presbyterian churches, ensuring they have access to the essential tools required for their worship and spiritual activities.
