The Pastoral, Outreach, and Mission Council holds an annual prayer conference where the attendance this year ranged from 700 to 1000 people Representatives of about 400 Evangelical Presbyterian churches from all over Egypt.
The annual prayer conference is considered the largest event in the entity of the Evangelical Synod of the Nile in Egypt. It is a church tradition that the Egyptian Evangelical Church has been keen on for 122 years, and recently the Sudanese Church in Egypt and loved ones from the global partner churches participated in it usually the prayer conference is broadcast on many Christian media channels.
All pastors of local Presbyterian churches and our missionaries abroad, as well as a representation of elders, leaders, and members from each local church, are invited to participate on behalf of their churches. A church from a different governorate is chosen each year to hold this celebration, which allows its church members to attend in larger numbers.
